Acculevel, a foundation repair and waterproofing company, is investing $8.7 million to establish three new regional headquarters in Missouri, creating 123 skilled-trades jobs in Kennett, Sarcoxie, and Smithville.

Missouri Economic Development Director Michelle Hataway told Missourinet that the company will be bringing 41 high paying jobs to each rural community.

“So, in Southeast Missouri, Southwest Missouri and then northwest, community and $2.9 million investment at each location, which is going to be revolutionary for these communities,” said Hataway. “The average wage for all of these jobs is over $100,000.”

Hataway said the economic impact could be life changing for members of these rural communities.

“In Kennett the average wage is $35,000,” said Hataway. “So, the fact that this is 41 jobs at an average wage of over $100,000 is amazing, and truly not only help the tax base within the communities, help the school district with the communities, but it’s going to be able to provide sustainable living wages.”

Gov.Mike Kehoe told Missourinet that it is a big deal when a company picks not just one site, but three very different sites over the state.

“It’s a great family-owned business from Indiana,” said Kehoe. “You’re seeing a lot, especially you know in Sarcoxie and in Kennett, MO, where wages might be need a little bit of a bump. This company does a really good job.”

According to a press release, Acculevel specializes in foundation repair, basement waterproofing, and concrete leveling—and its new Missouri locations will help meet growing demand for these services across the state.

The company said it selected Missouri for its central location and the state’s pro-business climate.
