-Tennessee’s first possession of the game starts at their own 33 yard line. The Volunteers gain one first down but punt the ball to the Tigers who start their next drive at their own 12 yard line with 11:04 left in the quarter.
-The Tigers possession goes three and out with one incomplete pass and two rushes by Mauk. After a Brinser punt is nearly blocked the Volunteers take over at their own 44 yard line with 9:36 left in the quarter. Mauk has opened the game 0/4 throwing the ball.
-Tennessee is able to reach the Missouri 37 yard line and on 4th and 5 they elect to go for it and a pass from Joshua Dobbs to Marquez North is incomplete and Mizzou takes over at their own 37 yard line with 7:46 left in the quarter.
-Mizzou then puts together a 13 play 64 yard drive that results in a Maty Mauk to Dorial Green-Beckham 9 yard touchdown strike on 3rd and goal. Nice balance of run and pass on the drive. The drive featured 3 third down conversions. With 2:20 left in the quarter Missouri leads 7-0
