Mizzou Football Team Recognized At State Capitol

Head Coach Gary Pinkel showing off the Cotton Bowl Trophy Both the Missouri Senate and House of Representatives recoginized the 2007 Missouri Tiger Football for their 12 win/Cotton Bowl Championship season in Jefferson City on Wednesday.

State Representative Martin Rucker (D-St. Joseph), who of course is the father of senior tight end Martin Rucker talked to the team about their success, how they came together as team, and what they’ve done for their fans and this state.

Afterward, the players led the House in an M-I-Z, Z-O-U cheer and several players and coaches signed posters and footballs for House members and their families.
