Defensive end Jarel Allen caught a touchdown pass in a goalline situation to give the Chiefs a 10-3 lead and from there it was all down hill as the Chiefs playoffs hopes (as bleak as they were to begin with) have all but ended as they fall to 4-8 on the year.
Damon Huard started at QB for the Chiefs, in place of injured Brodie Croyle, left the game in the 4th quarter with a hand injury. He was picked off twice in the game. Third stringer Tyler Thigpen picked off late in the game as the Chiefs turned the ball over four times.
LaDanian Tomlinson broke the game open in the 2nd half with touchdown runs of 31 and 28…it’s like high school runs. How does a defense give up two long runs like that?
