Senators Versus theNFL , Part TWO

February 6, 2007 By admin

We are including the second part of the news conference at the capitol with Seantors Matt Bartle of Lee’s Summit and Victory Callahan of Independence about the NFL’s ban of the news media from the sidelines during games. The practice started in the recently-concluded season. Michigan’s legialature has a similar bill before it. The Bartle-Callahan bill lets newspapers, radio and television stations get a court injunction against any team enforcing the ban while playing in a publicly-financed facility.
