There are still four shopping days to go before Christmas, and indications are this has already been a good year at the cash register for retailers. Missouri Retailers Association President Dave Overfelt says Black Friday – the day after Thanksgiving – saw stores jammed with customers buying holiday treasures … with the days since then profitable, too. Overfelt points out last year’s sales were 6 percent over sales for the previous year.
