At least two deaths have been linked to the storm and heat in St. Louis – a 93-year-old woman believed to be a heat victim and a 50-year-old man electrocuted by a downed power line he touched while clearing debris in his yard. Hundreds of National Guard members, police, firefighters and other emergency workers are going door-to-door looking for people suffering from the heat in the St.Louis area. AmerenUE says it might be another five days before everybody has electricity again. The company says it has about 1,800 people including outside contractors working in the area.
