Many attempts are made – at the state and national levels – to deal with Missouri’s methamphetamine problem. But the Director of the Office of National Drug Control Policy says marijuana remains a big concern in Missouri. National “Drug Czar” John Walters says there is no reason the fight against drug abuse in Missouri can’t include marijuana as well as meth. Walters cites a statewide survey showing 78 percent of Missouri teenagers who enter drug treatment facilities claim marijuana as their substance of choice.
