Julian Battle’s season-ending injury has forced the Chiefs to consider signing a free agent cornerback. The team will visit with four veteran CB’s on Thursday. Dewayne Washington, Aaron Beasley, Ashley Ambrose and Terrence Shaw will make their way to Kansas City this week. Beasley, who is 31, is the youngest of the group.
Battle, who was named a starter this spring, was lost for the season after tearing an Achilles tendon on Saturday.
Wide receiver Johnnie Morton, who was released by the Chiefs this year, has signed with the 49ers.
