Garcia Pitches White Sox Past Royals

Freddy Garcia threw seven solid innings as the White Sox beat the Royals 8-2 on Friday. Garcia surrendered just two runs on three hits in seven innings.Juan Uribe lead Chicago’s offensive attack with three hits and two RBIs. Joe Crede went 3-for-4, extending his hitting streak to 13 games. He also scored three times.Ruben Gotay and Terrence Long each drove in a run for the Royals, who fell to 5-12 with the loss. Runelvys Hernandez was the losing pitcher. He gave up four earned runs in six innings.
