Saint Louis University Athletic Director Doug Woolard is a candidate for the Athletic Director opening at the University of South Florida. He’ll interview for the job tomorrow. If he is offered the job and accepts it, he’ll be preparing the school for a big transition. USF is moving from Conference USA–which SLU is currently a member of—to the Big East beginning in 2005. If Woolard stays, he’ll help Saint Louis do the same thing as the university prepares to move from C-USA to the Atlantic 10 in 2005. Woolard was named SLU’s Athletic Director in October of 1994.
