Tigers Expecting A Class Of 25 Today

February 4, 2004 By admin Leave a Comment

Today is national letter of intent day for college football teams around the nation. The Missouri Tigers are expected to sign 25 players, 14 of which are from Missouri. That includes national recruits like running back Tony Temple of Rockhurst, quarterback and linebacker Chase Patton and Van Alexander from Columbia Rock Bridge and Webster Groves quarterback Darrell Jackson. Brian Barrman is also expected to sign. Barrman, who played at West Platte, is Missouri’s all-time leader in receptions and receiving yards. His brother Adam is a quarterback at Kansas. Rivals 100, an online recruiting service, has Mizzou’s 2004 class ranked 24th in the nation, which is the best since Gary Pinkel became head coach.
