US Bank is telling its Missouri customers to beware of an e-mail scam that is targeting them. US Bank says the mass e-mail tells customers their accounts have been frozen, and offers an Internet link that can reactivate the accounts. It asks for personal financial information. US Bank’s fraud liaison center is investigating. Bank officials say consumers should not give detailed financial information out on the Internet, or to callers on the telephone.
