VP Visits Missouri To Campaign For Matt Blunt

December 13, 2003 By admin Leave a Comment

Secretary of State Matt Blunt hasn’t officially announced, yet, that he’s running for Governor next year, but he’s already getting some high-profile help for that expected run. Vice President Dick Cheney appeared at a fundraiser for Blunt Friday in Kansas City, talking to about 200 people who paid $250 each to attend. Cheney talked about the war on terror, saying the U.S. will finish what it has begun. And, he talked about Blunt, calling the expected Republican flag-bearer “a rare public official who actually reduced the size of his own staff and budget.”
