A women’s conference at the University of Missouri-Columbia today focuses on breast cancer and other women’s health issues. And tonight, the student union tower will be illuminated with pink lights to highlight Breast Cancer Awareness Week. First Lady Lori Hauser Holden says breast cancer is a bad news-good news issue. Two years ago Mrs. Holden arranged the pink illumination of the Capitol dome and last year she arranged the pink illumination of the Governor’s mansion to emphasize Breast Cancer Awareness week.
