A truckdriver is dead and 14 students hurt after a fully loaded cement truck crashed into the back of a school bus near Wentzville, outside St. Louis, Wednesday afternoon. 40-year-old Michael Quirin of Hazelwood was thrown from the truck and pinned beneath the back of it. None of the students was seriously injured. The Wentzville Police Department says the driver attempted to avoid hitting the school bus, but crashed into the rear of it, crumbling a corner. The bus was carrying 42 students from Holt High School and Wentzville Middle School.
