Governor Announces Tuition Break For College Students Called To Duty

March 24, 2003 By admin Leave a Comment

Governor Bob Holden has announced a break for students attending Missouri’s public colleges and universities who are called to active duty to support the nation’s efforts in the war against Iraq. They’ll be eligible for tuition relief. Holden says the students who are serving their country won’t be penalized for doing so. Instead, they’ll have the option of completing their courses upon their return from active military dity. Students hoping to benefit from this tuition relief are being asked to contact the financial aid office at their respective institutions.
