Governor Bob Holden has hired a new Budget Director to replace the departed Brian Long. Linda Luebbering will move into the position on September 3rd, becoming the first woman to hold the post. Luebbering currently works as section manager in the Human Services Section in the Office of Administration’s Division of Budget and Planning where she is responsible for analyzing and making recommendations on the budget requests and legislation for four state departments. Previously, she was the Budget Director for the State Education Department.
