The Cardinals seemed to have other things on their minds yesteday, and who could blame them. The team, still dealing with the death of pitcher Darryl Kile lost to the Cubs 7-3 in Chicago. The Cubs took a 7-0 lead before the Cards got on the board with Albert Pujols’ two-run homer in the 8th. It was his 16th of the year. Jason Simontacchi lost his first of the year dropping to 5-1…..Cook County Coroner’s report says Kile had 80-90% blockage in two of his three coronary arteries, which they believe contributed to his untimely death on Friday night. Kile was just 33.
