Royals reliever Cory Bailey was credited with victories in both of the Royals wins over the Rangers yesterday. He put in 2/3’s of an inning of work in their 9-8 win in the early game. Then he worked the ninth inning of game two, as the Royals won 7-5. He’s now 2-4. In game one, Mark Quin hit his first home run of the year, MIke Sweeny and Carlos Beltran also went deep. Roberto Hernandez recorded his seventh save. In the nightcap, Joe Randa’s ninth inning home run broke a 5-5 tie to win it. Kansas City has won three in a row. They welcome the Angels to town tomorrow.
