Mizzou Wins…And Loses

The Missouri Tigers held their Spring Black and Gold Game in front of 5,738 fans at Faurot Field Saturday. The defense beat the offense 38-28, forcing four turnovers. Freshman quarterback Brad Smith was 12-21 for 89 yards and a touchdown. Senior Kirk Farmer was 11-18 for 118 yards and an interception. Sophomore wide receiver Thomson Omboga caught seven passes for 56 yards. Justin Gage had six catches for 49 yards. Mizzou opens the regular season on August 31st against Illinois in St. Louis.
