Holmes Phenominal Day Goes For Naught

The Kansas City Chiefs outgained the Raiders yesterday in Oakland 437 to 254, the Chiefs had 23 first downs compared to just 16 for the Raiders. Kansas City was a plus four in turnovers and Priest Holmes led the Chiefs with a ridiculous 277 total yards of offense . . so of course, the Chiefs lose 28-26. Oakland used phenominal special teams play to key the win, the Raiders had 249 yards in kick returns – a large chunk of which came on Tim Brown’s 88-yard punt return for a score in the third quarter. As for Priest Holmes, he rushed 28 times for 168 yards and caught five passes for 109 more yards. He scored two touchdowns, one on the ground and the other on a 66-yard reception.
