Judge Delays Decision On Motion To Dismiss Executive Order Suit

A circuit judge in Jefferson City has taken under advisement a motion to dismiss a challenge to Governor Bob Holden’s authority to issue the executive order allowing state workers greater collective bargaining rights. Senate Leader Peter Kinder is questioning the Governor’s authority. The judge was expected to rule today He says he’ll issue his ruling within the next month.
