Leonard Thompson captured the Senior PGA Match Play Championship Title on Sunday at Boone Valley Golf Course with a victory in the finals over Vicente Fernandez. Thomspon earlier had to defeat Hale Irwin to earn his date with Fernandez. For his trouble in playing 104 holes of golf over the weekend, Thomspon earns more then $300,000 dollars.
