Blues Win Game #1 in Impressive Fashion

Pierre Turgeon, Al MacInnis and Scott Young all scored and Roman Turek stopped 21 shots as the St. Louis Blues won Game #1 of their first-round Stanley Cup playoff series with San Jose 3-1 last night. Turgeon broke a scoreless tie with his goal at the 17:10 mark of the second period. He also assisted on the other two St. Louis scores. Blues held San Jose to just 22 shots on goal and an 0-4 performance on the power play. Game #2 is Saturday afternoon at noon in St. Louis
