With free agency looming, the Kansas City Chiefs cleared out some salary cap space on Wednesday. The team has released starting quarterback Elvis Grbac, defensive back James Hasty and defensive tackle Chester McGlockton. These three moves will save the team about $25-million dollars against the salary cap. Grbac alone would have counted $16.5 million dollars against this year’s cap.
