Ankiel Faces Hitters

For the first time since last year’s playoffs, St. Louis Cardinals lefthander Rick Ankiel faced hitters. Ankiel threw batting practice during spring training workouts Tuesday morning without incident.The 21-year old lefthander is trying to regain the control which dissapeared during a disasterous series of outings last year during the playoffs.
