Killer’s family continues quest

January 9, 2001 By admin Leave a Comment

The family of convicted killer Bret Arbuckle of Miller, in southwest Missouri, is focusing on a new effort to get him out of prison. Eddie Arbuckle says forensic tests show there was no gunshot residue on his son’s hands following the 1990 shooting death of Angela Fortner, 17, the killing for which he was sent to prison. Prosecutors say the jury was presented with a lot of evidence, including the testimony of three eyewitnesses. Governor Roger Wilson has turned down a plea for clemency.
