Operators of a medical testing laboratory in Liberty have been charged with defrauding Medicare of more than $600,000 dollars. The federal prosecutor says the two men are charged with 40 counts of mail fraud and one count of conspiracy to commit mail fraud. The indictment says they did unnecessary tests. It also alleges that in some cases, the laboratory ran blood tests on patients already dead.
