The Nuclear Regulatory Commission is hearing officials from the Callaway Nuclear plant tell their side of the story today. The NRC says some workers at the plant have been exposed to more radiation than they should have been, although not a particularly dangerous level. NRC spokesman Breck Henderson says the NRC is being briefed by Callaway officials. The NRC does not plan any action against the plant. Plant officials say they’re tightening procedures to keep the incident from happening again.
