Cook to head Holden transition

November 9, 2000 By admin Leave a Comment

A new job for Bekki Cook. She’ll head the transition team to the new administration for Governor-elect Bob Holden. Cook says she still plans to leave state government, and won’t be a member of the permanent Holden administration. And She’ll continue to serve as secretary of state. Holden says he hasn’t decided on any other members of his administration or about department heads. He predicts some Carnahan people will stay on the next four years, and that he’ll bring in some new faces, too. Holden is off to Colorado for a conference for new governors next week. He returns to Missouri on Thursday.
