A Joplin-area couple cannot understand why the hospital there could not find them to let them know their daughter needed treatment for jaundice. David and Athena Long say they gave the hospital their correct address when they took their daughter to the emergency room last week for treatment. The hospital put out a public appeal for information about the Long family, saying the address they gave was bogus. The hospital says it’s looking into the problem.
