Deer season doesn’t come for a few months, but state conservation agents say they’re already hearing reports of illegal hunting. Osage County Conservation Agent Mark Haviland says he had a call about some guys trying to shoot a trophy buck from their car. Haviland says it’s early to being fielding such reports. He thinks the incidents hurt the reputation of legitimate hunters.
