Tributes are pouring out of Washington for Senator Paul Coverdell of Georgia, who died yesterday following a stroke. Senator Kit Bond says Coverdell had many Missouri ties. Bond notes the late senator attended the University of Missouri and lived in Jackson County for a time. He called Coverdell an outstanding legislator and servant of the people.
