Senator John Ashcroft thinks the President will sign the repeal of the marriage tax penalty this time. Last year, the President vetoed it and complained Republicans stuck amendments on the bill he did not want. Ashcroft admits there’s still some uncertainty, but says he’s still optimistic. Ashcroft believes 830,000 Missouri couples will benefit from the repeal.
