A man considered a ringleader in the cocaine business in Springfield has a court date tomorrow on charges that he violated his probation. Investigators say Eugene Johnson has tested positive for cocaine five times in the last seven months, has tampered with a patch used for testing and has submitted adulterated urine specimens. He was put on three years probation in 19-98 for conspiracy to distribute cocaine and crack cocaine.
