Students Complain of Poor English

A survey of University of Missouri students shows about 15 percent of them think their instructors last fall made it harder to learn because of their poor English skills. And the study shows the worst problems were in technical courses, such as engineering, chemistry, math, biology and chemistry. The state senate education committee has recommended the legislature pass a law requiring instructors to be proficient in English.
