(Jefferson City, MO) – ‘Tis the season for winter weather. A wet, wintry mix is expected in Missouri Wednesday from morning until evening.
According to the National Weather Service, drivers can expect up to three inches of a snowy, slushy mix from mid-Missouri north to the Iowa state line. Areas in the southern half of Missouri should expect a mix of rain and snow. Watch out for icy patches, especially on bridges.
The Missouri Department of Transportation will have workers clearing roadways as conditions warrant the need.
