Mizzou’s recent visit to Auburn was more than just playing a basketball game

January 29, 2021 By Bill Pollock

On Mizzou’s recent road trip to Auburn, Cuonzo Martin took his team to Montgomery, Alabama to visit the Equal Justice Initiative (EJI) Museum and Memorial, which is committed to ending mass incarceration and excessive punishment in the United States, to challenging racial and economic injustice, and to protecting basic human rights for the most vulnerable people in American society.

The trip brought players to tears as Martin explains what they saw and learned on the visit.
