A Caruthersville man faces multiple charges including assault after, police say, he stabbed a city hall bookkeeper multiple times because his water had been shut off. 50-year-old Richard Edward Jaworski is accused of stabbing or trying to stab the woman 13 times.
KFVS reports police said Jaworski told city hall employees after the stabbing he would teach them to teach his water off, and later admitted to police he went to city hall intending to kill the employee for “robbing” him of his money and turning his water off.
