The Missouri Tigers are fifth in the rankings that matters the most…the BCS Standings. The undefeated Tigers, who are 7-0 following their win over Florida, is just behind Ohio State. Florida State edges out Oregon for number two, while Alabama holds the top spot.

In both, the AP and Coaches polls that are used in helping the BCS formula, Oregon is second and Florida State third, but the standings’ computer component gave the Seminoles the advantage.

In one computer ranking, the Colley Matrix, Mizzou is ranked number one overall. One ranking has them sixth with one, number two and three, third place rankings. Missouri averaged third in the computer rankings.
