Chiefs sign veteran Elam

On Monday, the Kansas City Chiefs announced the signing of veteran safety Abram Elam, who started 16 games for the Dallas Cowboys in 2011. He also spent time with the New York Jets and Cleveland Browns in his six-year career.  Elam has five sacks, 365 tackles and three interceptions, including one returned for a 92-yard touchdown in his NFL career.
