Head of St. Louis Police Officers Association files discrimination suit

The head of the St. Louis Police Officers Association says he was discriminated against when he was passed over for a promotion. Sergeant David Boneberger has filed a federal discrimination suit against the department. He claims in the suit that he was told he could not be considered for the job of police academy assistant director because the commander of the academy wanted a black female in the position.
