Over the weekend, the Cardinals addressed their shortstop situation be signing Rafael Furcal to two year deal worth a reported $14 million. The 34-year-old Furcal came to the Cards from the Dodgers and hit .255 in 50 regular-season games. Furcal hit under .200 in the NLCS and World Series.

Meanwhile, Albert Pujols was introduced to Angels fans after signing a deal that was worth more money than what wner Arte Moreno paid for the ballclub. Pujols’ contract is the second biggest ever in baseball at $254 million.
