The Federal Emergency Management agency says more than 17-hundred people in a dozen counties in southeast Missouri have registered for disaster assistance. FEMA says it has distributed almsot six million dollars to them. About two thirds of the money has gone to nearly 570 people in Butler and New Madrid Counties.
