A St. Joseph man is charged with attacking a policeman who broke up a fight he was having with another man. The policeman suffered hand injuries that required medical attention. An assault charge has been filed against Andre Turner who also is accused of failing to show up in court on a charge of driving without a valid license. Officers say Turner had some marijuana with him when he was arrested after the fight with the officer. He also has three outstanding warrants against him.
