For the second time this season, Missouri senior Aaron Senne was named the Big 12 Conference Player of the Week. In Mizzou’s five games last week, Senne hit .609 (14-for-23), including a series mark of .583 against Oklahoma. He had two home runs, three doubles and seven RBI in the three games with the Sooners.

Senne will put his 16-game hitting streak on the line tonight in Springfield when the Tigers travel to play Missouri State. This season, Senne is hitting .460, which leads the Big 12. His 10 home runs and 15 doubles rank second in the conference, while his 38 RBI are fourth best. Senne was also named the Big 12 Player of the Week on March 1 after he hit .462 at the Auburn Classic.
