Office of Administration Commissioner Jackie White says state employees are allowed to campaign for candidates unless that campaigning involves the use of state resources, including worktime. White says state employees cannot endorse ballot initiatives, but can provide information on them. White issued guidelines for employees a few months ago, prior to the August primaries. She does not expect too many problems in the general election.
