Shawn Sedlacek will make his major league debut tonight, as the starting pitcher for the Royals in Montreal. He’s the third Royals pitcher to make his debut this season, joining starters Jeremy Affeldt and Miguel Asencio. Sedlacek is 6-5 with a 3.70 ERA in Omaha….Eight-game winner Paul Byrd will miss a start because of a tender elbow. Jeremy Affeldt is going on the disabled list with a finger blister.
