A judge has refused to reconsider a $5.77 million judgement awarded a woman who unwillingly appeared topless in a “Girls Gone Wild” video. The video’s producer, Mantra Films, requested a re-hearing of the case that was decided when they failed to appear for an April re-trial. Its attorney says he and his clients didn’t know the hearing date due to confusion over his attempt to withdraw from the case.
